International Languages Elementary Summer Learning 2011

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centres offers summer language program to elementary school children in the following languages: Chinese, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Russian

This program is taught by qualified IL Instructors who are teaching these languages during regular school year.

This is a great opportunity to combine summer camp experience with language learning. Language learning component will be complemented by a variety of supervised activities which intend to allow students to enjoy their summer: daily trips to local interesting sites, crafts, dances, outdoor plays and games.

FREE 4 WEEK PROGRAM

There is no charge for the program, but any daily trips expenses will have to be covered by parents.

CLASS SIZE

The minimum number of students in each program is 23.
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board reserves the right to cancel a program if insufficient registrations are received.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to and from IL Elementary Summer Program location is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

REGISTRATION

Students are enrolled upon receipt of their registration form. No confirmation is sent to student’s school or parents. Unless students and parents are notified otherwise, they should plan to attend the first class.

• Current students can submit printed forms to their International Language Instructors
• Registration closes June 11th
• The number of students accepted will be limited due to space restrictions

All students attending our regular International Languages Program
are invited to register.

This is also a great opportunity for these students who might want to join our regular program next year.
