          The Parent Council, is elected every two years for a two year term. The Parent Council helps finance the needs of our school. The International Languages Program, covers the costs of the building use and the teachers (1 teacher for every 23 students) as well as janitorial services. In addition, the school receives additional funding from the Ministry averaging $4 (four dollars) per student. All extra expenses are covered by the Parent Council funding. Some of the expenses include:

• financing additional teaching positions

  • purchasing necessary textbooks and workbooks

  • school equipment and office materials

  • little Christmas for our students , end-of-the-year rewards, diplomas and school events

The Parent Council asks all the parents to pay voluntary donation for the School Fund, which is as follows:

               $70        for one child

               $130     for two children from the same family

               $150      for three or more children from the same family

The payments are collected by Parents’ Association representatives in staff room every Saturday before and after the classes in the form of cash, check and also etransfer polishschoolkitchener@gmail.com . All payments are documented with a proof of payment/ issued receipt.
